Milde Pretends, Stafford

Paul Milde (R-Aquia) is the great pretender.
He pretends to be in favor of curbing development, but he’s a developer
and his campaign is bankrolled by developers! He pretends to work to protect
Crow’s Nest, but then pushes a sweetheart deal for developers that paid
the landowners far above market value, costing taxpayers millions of
dollars!
Milde pretends to be against taxes by
opposing the business BPOL tax, but forgets to tell voters that repealing
BPOL will shift taxes to homeowners. He pretends to care for animals with
his supposed non-profit animal shelter project, but fails to tell you the
whole scam is a for-profit venture cooked up to benefit one of his buddies
who helps bankroll his campaign.
Now — in one of the greatest magic tricks
since Houdini — Milde copies Paul Ortiz’s “Veterans for Ortiz”
signs. Mr. Milde’s lack of integrity leaves a lot to be desired. We need
to restore honesty in our supervisors’ chambers. Enough of the smoke and
mirrors from the great pretender. We need some real leadership. That’s why
I’m voting for Paul Ortiz.
